Cancelled Due to Blizzard: Disney's 'Frozen' at United Center

What else is closed and cancelled?

The heavy snow and blizzard warning are forcing cancellations on Sunday.

In a bit of irony, Disney on Ice presents “Frozen” cancelled its 7 p.m. show at the United Center. The 3 p.m. show will go on as planned, however.

The Adler Planetarium, Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium and attractions at Navy Pier will be closed as of 1 p.m. Sunday. Brookfield Zoo is also closed. Lincoln Park Zoo closed at 2 p.m.

Already, more than 1,300 flights at Chicago’s airports have been cancelled. At O’Hare International, about 1,100 flights are cancelled Sunday, and 200 flights are cancelled at Midway Airport, reports the Chicago Department of Aviation, in anticipation of the blizzard conditions to hit Chicago this afternoon and evening.
