Community Focus Groups Invited to Give Input on Next York Principal

Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 has posted an opening for the York High School principal position for the 2016-17 school year to replace Diana Smith, who is retiring effective the end of the current school year.

An important first step in that process is to garner community input on desired qualities for the next principal. Community members will have two opportunities to express their thoughts on the matter.

On Wednesday, October 21, consultants from the search firm BWP & Associates will facilitate focus group interviews in the Yorker Room of York Community High School at both 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Any interested parties are invited and encouraged to participate.
