Dad Asks Cops to Ticket Truant Daughter: Elmhurst Police
The parent reportedly wanted her to "suffer the consequences of leaving school."

A juvenile was picked up by Glen Ellyn police Oct. 6 for leaving York Community High School after first period.
The girl’s father wanted her to be issued a truancy ticket “to suffer the consequences of leaving school,” according to Elmhurst police.
After police discussed the situation with the parent, they decided to place the girl on station adjustment.
