Dr. Alberto Saltiel, 89

From Elmhurst Community Funeral Home: In loving memory of Dr. Alberto Saltiel, 89, of Oak Brook, IL, who peacefully passed away on July 1, 2023. He was a husband, father, grandfather, and a prominent physician, the ultimate caretaker, who dedicated his life to the well-being of his family and patients.

He was a devoted husband to the late Francisca and a benevolent father to Becky (John), Albert (Susan), Frances (Tom), Linda, Lisa, Lynna (Jonathan), and Joseph (Michelle). Alberto was a cherished Abuelo to Benjamin (Emily), Samantha, Andrew, Mary Margaret, Gabriella (Nick), Alberto, Christopher, Kathryn, Andreas (Sarah), Elizabeth, Jacquelyn, Alexander, Madeline, Zachary, Abigail, Sophia, and great-grandson Malachi. He is also survived by his loving sister Estrella Palacios, many loving extended family members, and dear friends.

Dr. Saltiel is preceded in death by his cherished wife Francisca, parents Salvador Saltiel and Rebecca Levy, and siblings Maria, Sara, Moises, Isaac, and Jose.

Dr. Saltiel was a compassionate and caring physician, touching the lives of countless patients and friends. His legacy of benevolence and integrity will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
