The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Monday daily lane closures affecting the Elmhurst area will take place starting Wednesday, weather permitting.  Closures will take place on southbound Kingery Highway (Illinois 83) between North Ave. (Illinois 64) and St. Charles Rd., according to <a href="http://www.idot.illinois.gov/about-idot/stay-connected/news-releases/Construction/releases" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">IDOT</a>. Drivers can expect these closures between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily through Friday.    Lanes will be restricted due to sewer repairs in the area.    Though IDOT hasn't specified estimated delay times, officials are warning drivers to expect delays when traveling through the area, play close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, and be vigilant of workers and equipment on the roads.  --  Image via Shutterstock.
