The local team went down to Florida for the national event.

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst Bears Mitey Mites, a team of 34 4th graders, are the 2nd Place Pop Warner Cheer & Dance National Champions in their division, according to the team. The competition was in Florida.

The Mitey Mites "Hit Zero" and placed 2nd out of 15 teams. In addition, JV placed 4th out of 13 teams and Jr Pee Wee Placed 12th out of 17 teams – both teams also Hit Zero.
