Elmhurst Begins its Trio of Tree Lightings Friday
Still time for your group to purchase a tree for the Wilder Park tree-lighting.

It's a short holiday season this year, with Thanksgiving (and the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot) coming so late in November. So, it's no surprise that in order to fit in all three of Elmhurst's tree lightings, we have to get started right away.
Spring Road
The first Elmhurst tree lighting of the season will be held this Friday, Nov. 22, at Wild Meadows Trace, Spring Road and the Prairie Path.

City Centre
Elmhurst City Centre tree lighting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, in front of the police station, 125 E. First St.
Bring the family for live holiday music, treats and train rides for the kids. Santa will arrive in a fire truck to light the tree.
The fun continues after the tree lighting, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with a sing-a-long with Santa at Fitz's Spare Keys, 119 N. York Road.
Wilder Park
Join the Elmhurst Park District with the old-fashioned Wilder Park tree lighting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5. The event will feature local choral groups, the Impact Dance Company, live reindeer and, of course, a visitor from the North Pole.
New this year, the Radio Disney roadcrew will entertain the crowd, and you can create holiday treats with Mariano's at Wilder Mansion.
Warm up with cookies and hot cocoa while enjoying the dozens of wonderful tree decorations created by local organizations.
Get you family, friends, or group together and purchase a holiday tree to decorate. Come to the Wagner Community Center to register and pick out your tree location for decorating. Registration deadline is Nov. 30 and trees cost $45.
