What makes your dad extra special?

My father is easily the kindest and hardest-working man I know! He is often caught with his nose in a book and always has a smile on his face. He makes the world a better place just by simply being and reminds me to enjoy the simple things in life. Love you, Dad!

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

My dad is an army veteran and has been a proud Chicagoan for over 70 years. His ability to speak Spanish and English fluently allowed him to climb the ladder in his career, and he is now enjoying retirement. Everyone who knows him has nothing bad to say about him. He treats everyone with respect and equality and is a great representation of the people of Chicago.
