Elmhurst District 205 Cancels After-school and Evening Activities; Rec Station Still Open

Elmhurst Unit District 205 has canceled all after-school activities for Tuesday, March 5, due to the weather.

Superintendent David Pruneau said Rec Station after-school activities will not be canceled, but Elmhurst Park District staff, which runs Rec Station, is asking families to pick up their children as soon as possible.

All school will be dismissed at their regular time, but the buses will likely be running a bit behind.

For information on activities that will need to be rescheduled, check the individual school's website.

Classes and activities at Timothy Christian, Immaculate Conception and Immanuel Lutheran schools were canceled Tuesday, as well.
