Elmhurst Man Accused Of Aggravated Assault At His House
In another case, construction equipment was stolen at the hospital, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving aggravated assault, burglary, a stolen wallet, fraud and a leaning light. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Aggravated assault
- A 44-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 400 block of South Kenilworth Avenue was arrested about 11 p.m. Monday at his house on a charge of misdemeanor aggravated assault. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Burglary

- Leopardo Construction told police that three cargo bins were broken into and tools and equipment were stolen between Friday and Sunday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road. An investigation is pending.
Stolen wallet
- A resident in the 100 block of West Butterfield Road reported the theft of her wallet Tuesday. She said she believes it was taken from her unattended purse.
Fraud

- A resident in the 100 block of North Geneva Avenue told police that someone used her information to file for unemployment compensation.
Leaning light
- A streetlight was found to be leaning Tuesday in the 200 block of Winthrop Avenue. Public works was notified.
