Elmhurst Man Accused Of Store Burglary: Cops
In another case, an Elmhurst woman faces two counts of domestic battery.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with burglary, domestic battery, retail theft, DUI and trespassing. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:
Burglary
- Robert M. Kouzoukas, 41, who lives in the 300 block of West North Avenue in Elmhurst, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Walgreens, 160 Robert Palmer Drive, on one count of burglary and two counts of retail theft. Police said he stole alcohol. He was also wanted in connection with a retail theft at CVS Pharmacy three days earlier, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A 41-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 400 block of South Stratford Avenue was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at her house on two counts of domestic battery. Police said she struck and threw a phone at a man. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft
- A 27-year-old Maywood man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Monday on charges of retail theft and assault. He is accused of stealing at Jewel, 944 S. York St. He was later found in the Burger King parking lot. He was released.
- A 25-year-old Chicago man was arrested twice Wednesday on retail theft charges. At 5 p.m., he was caught at Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive, police said. The same happened nearly three hours later at CVS Pharmacy, 110 W. North Ave. The second time, he was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- A 26-year-old Bensenville man was arrested about 4 a.m. Tuesday at Lake and York streets on charges of DUI, marijuana possession by a driver, driving an uninsured car and stopping in the roadway. Police said the man was found asleep behind the wheel. He was released.
Warrants
- A 53-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 400 block of North Willow Street was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday at his house on three DuPage County warrants. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Trespassing
- A 23-year-old Hammond, Indiana, man was arrested about 1 p.m. Wednesday on charges of criminal trespassing to property and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The incident occurred at 668 W. North Ave., which is the site of the old Mack's Golden Pheasant Restaurant. The man was released.
