Elmhurst Police Report Man With Knife Arrested at Pace Stop, Disturbance at 100 South
Arrests also reported for domestic battery, possession of fireworks.

Warrant Arrests
Nicholas J. Martino, 24, 709 Plentywood Lane, Bensenville, was arrested on a warrant out of Bensenville on a charge of theft of services after police saw him sitting in the Pace bus stop shelter at Palmer and Schiller at 1:59 p.m July 1. Police said he was holding a knife, but he handed it over to police. He was transported to Bensenville police.
Dominic Rofrano, 19, 138 Murray Drive, Wood Dale, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear after police pulled him over for failure to signal at York and Interstate 290 at 4:48 p.m. June 28. He also was charged with driving with a suspended license. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Domestic Battery
Sharon Bertolli, 45, 8 Dewalt Circle, was arrested and charged with domestic battery at her home at 4 a.m. June 30. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Criminal Trespass
Jacques Rogers, 59, 404 Home Ave., Oak Park, was arrested and charged for being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol, being intoxicated on a railroad station platform and littering after police were called to 100 South Chop House, 100 S. York, for an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at 6:43 p.m. June 28. Rogers, who was located on the railroad station platform, also was issued a no trespass order for the restaurant. He was released on bond.
Suspicious Circumstances
Someone propped a steak knife against the tire of a vehicle parked on the 400 block of North York between 7:40 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. June 28.
A woman told police her ex-husband was banging loudly on the sliding glass door of her apartment on the 200 block of East Fremont at 7 p.m. July 1. She told police she saw him trying to get into the apartment. Police said they contacted her ex-husband, who said he had been home in Washington, Ill., all night. Police also contacted the Washington police, who verified the man was at his home.
Possession of Fireworks
Andrew Mugnolo, 21, 543 N. Emroy, Elmhurst, was cited for illegal possession of fireworks after police responded to a report of fireworks at his home at 2:16 p.m. July 3.
