Elmhurst Ranked Among Best Towns for Trick-or-Treating

Isn’t trick-or-treating in Elmhurst just the best?

Editors at The Daily Meal recently ranked the 25 best spots in the U.S. for trick-or-treating, and Elmhurst made the cut at No. 23.

Elmhurst was recognized for its annual Fall Fest, where children can carve and paint pumpkins, participate in storytelling, pony rides, a petting zoo and a bounce house while showing off their scary and delightful costumes.

Geneva was the only other Illinois town to make the Daily Meal’s trick-or-treating list, and it was given the impressive No. 7 spot.

Factors such as crime rates, resident sex offenders, community events and a “walkability rating” contributed to the trick-or-treating ranking.
