Elmhurst Residential Complex Plan To Be Presented
The building would be on three downtown lots that the developer purchased.
ELMHURST, IL – The developer of a proposed downtown Elmhurst residential complex is set to present the concept Monday to a City Council committee.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The five-story, 40-unit building is planned for 117 W. Virginia St. The city's information includes renderings of the complex.

The developer has been identified as Virginia 531 LLC.
The secretary of state's business database lists the manager of 531 Virginia LLC as Five Thirty One Partners LLC, which is at 5205 N. Bernard St. in Chicago. News stories indicate that the company is responsible for developments in Chicago.

For the project, the developer bought three lots in April. Two of the lots are vacant, while the other contains an older apartment building.
The developer has not indicated whether the units would be condos or apartments.
