Elmhurst Taking Next Step For Police Station
The city is considering spending $3 million with an architectural firm.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst is poised to choose an architectural firm that specializes in police stations to design a new one locally.
In April, the Elmhurst City Council voted unanimously for a new station, which is estimated to cost $48 million and involves a property tax hike.
On Monday, the city's public works committee plans to discuss a recommendation that the full council select FGM Architects. The contract would be for nearly $3 million.
