Fresh Pals Hosts Adoption Event Saturday

ELMHURST, IL - The Underdog Railway Rescue will have a few dogs up for adoption Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Fresh Pals Self Wash & Grooming for Dogs pet groomer at 106 W. 3rd St. in Elmhurst.

We've tracked down a little bit about four of the dogs who hope to find forever homes at the event scheduled for 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Gemma, a calm 2-year-old Pointer mix with almost perfect manners seems to love everybody and is even more beautiful in real life.

Hennessy is a shy and quiet 1 1/2-year-old Heinz 57. Very sweet.

Toby is a mellow American bulldog mix who loves to play ball.

Bitsy is an affectionate 8 pound little cuddler who is about 3 years old.

Dogs who go home on Saturday will be given a free bath.
