Graduate Programs Info Session to Be Held Nov. 21

Occupational therapy, health care administration among new programs will be featured.

In response to the growing demand for skilled professionals throughout the health care industry, the School for Professional Studies at Elmhurst College has launched master’s degree programs in occupational therapy, health informatics and health care administration.

The School for Professional Studies will host a free information session on these and the School’s other popular graduate programs on Saturday morning, Nov. 21.

Elmhurst faculty and staff will be on hand to talk about the programs, and the information session also will include workshops on the admission process and how to achieve a work-life balance in graduate school.

The School for Professional Studies at Elmhurst College offers more than 19 graduate programs in areas ranging from Applied Geospatial Sciences to Supply Chain Management to Early Childhood Special Education. Many of the graduate programs also have a certificate option.

The graduate program information session will begin at 9:00 a.m.(Registration and a light breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m.) in Illinois Hall in the Schaible Science Center (www.elmhurst.edu/campusmap). The workshops begin at 10:15 a.m. A Kindle will be given away during the event; the drawing is open to all attendees who fill out an information card and are present for the drawing.
