Help Needed to Identify Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Metra Train in Elmhurst
The deceased is a white female, 60 to 70 years old.

Elmhurst police are asking for the public’s help to identify the pedestrian who was fatally struck Friday afternoon by an inbound No. 52 Metra train.
The pedestrian was a white female, 60 to 70 years old, 130 pounds with white or light color hair, according to Elmhurst police.
She was wearing blue jogging pants, a white night gown with a laced bow and size 7 shoes. She had a Lina purse containing only a house key on an orange ring and eyeglasses.

She was not wearing any jewelry and she didn’t have identification with her.

The woman was struck by the train at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 9 east of York Road, near First Avenue and Palmer Drive. Witnesses told police they saw the woman step in front of the train.
