Intruder Confronts Elmhurst Man In House: Cops

The suspect was arrested shortly afterward. He was found in tall grass next to the Prairie Path.

ELMHURST, IL – A man was arrested Sunday after entering an Elmhurst house and confronting a resident inside, police said.

About 3:30 a.m., the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Micah J. Bosman of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, entered through an unlocked door and struggled with a man inside before running away, Elmhurst police said in a news release.

The house was in the 500 block of South Berkley Avenue.

Within 10 minutes, officers found Bosman hiding in tall prairie grass on the nearby Prairie Path, police said. Investigators said the man was in a relationship with a woman staying the night in the house and did not have permission to enter, police said.

Bosman was charged with felony criminal trespassing and taken to the DuPage County Jail.
