Jail Time for Elmhurst Man Who Allegedly Wielded Knife, Police Dog Finds Paraphernalia at York

Also, 18-year-old Elmhurst man charged with criminal trespass at Elmhurst Public Library.

Domestic Battery

Michael Carreno, 30, 240 N. Oaklawn, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault after an incident at his home at 3:57 a.m. March 21. He allegedly assaulted two victims and threatened one with a knife. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Elmhurst police conducted a K-9 search at York High School, 355 W. St. Charles Road, at 9:42 a.m. March 19, and a 17-year-old girl was found to be in possession of a cannabis pipe. She was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Criminal Trespass

Rene Delrosa, 18, 731 N. Van Auken, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with trespass to state property after he violated a no-trespass order at Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect Ave., at 7:20 p.m. March 19. He was released on bond.

Warrant Arrests

Michelle I. Biondolillo, 25, 225 W. Grand Ave. Apt. 2, Northlake, was arrested at Jiffy Lube, 339 N. York Road, on a warrant for failure to appear at 11:37 a.m. March 20. She was released on bond.

Possession of Alcohol on Public Property

Steven Richard Carter, 49, 1015 W. Lawrence, Chicago, was issued a citation for possession of alcohol on public property after police responded to a report of a suspicious person sitting at a table at Buffalo Wild Wings, 149 N. York St., at 3:34 p.m. March 20. Employees told police he appeared to be intoxicated and was continually nodding off. He allegedly was told to leave but did not respond. Police said they found a bottle of vodka in his pants.
