Juvenile Caught Stealing Fitbits: Elmhurst Police

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police were called to a business July 20 in the 300 block of S Route 83, where a shoplifter was being held in the loss prevention office.

The accused shoplifter is a juvenile who acknowledged stealing four Fitbit Atlas devices and one Fitbit Blaze, according to Elmhurst police.

The juvenile turned in all the merchandise he had previously taken, and he also brought stolen merchandise to the police department from his home, police reported.

The juvenile was released to his mother with retail theft charges pending.
