How did the business come to be?

I was retiring from a large architectural firm in Chicago and wanted to spend my days doing what I enjoyed, working with clients on small scale projects and giving the best possible customer service.

Why did you choose the area you did?

I have lived in Elmhurst for 38 years. I like the area, it is perfect for transportation and traveling, and most of the people are really great.

What does your business offer?

We offer architectural and strategic planning services to our client base, which is largely either retail or commercial. We specialize in interior architecture and out of the ground buildings.

We develop space programs, study work environments, design spaces, prepare permit and construction drawings, help the client in the permit and bidding process, and provide construction administration services as an additional service.

What’s a fact about your business that most customers probably don’t know?

They don't know that I exist. Most of my work comes from marketing trips into the hinterlands or by referral. I am presently working on a re-branding program for General Motors, working with small dealerships in Central Illinois.

What’s your most popular product?

Popular service: Complete client care. I care about my clients and I want them to succeed, by creating environments that produce either greater production and sales, or more importantly, create environments that are pleasing and contribute to the success of the business.
