Man Assaults Elmhurst Officer At Gas Station: Cops
In the same incident, another man was arrested on charges of DUI and drugs, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – A man assaulted an Elmhurst police officer over the weekend at a local gas station, police said.
Hector Manzanares, 43, of Roselle, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, resisting a police officer and battery, police said.
Police said they were called about drunk people shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday at the Shell gas station at 654 W. North Ave.

When officers arrived, an assault and battery occurred, police said.
Manzanares was with a 31-year-old Chicago man, who was charged with DUI and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Both men were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
