Man Shot Multiple Times in Cemetery After Attending Funeral: Sheriff
The Cook County Sheriff is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who shot a man repeatedly in a cemetery four days ago.
The 36-year-old victim was shot multiple times Feb. 4 after attending a funeral in Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside, according to a release from the sheriff's office. The cemetery is located in the 4300 block of Roosevelt Road.
The shooting took place around 2:50 p.m. The victim, who was taken into emergency care after the incident, remains hospitalized as of Tuesday evening, the release states.
