Police were called to a traumatic injury on the 200 block of North Elm Avenue at 2:30 p.m. July 14. According to a police report, a Ford Explorer rolled off a ramp and "over the victim's chest and upper body." Police said the victim was conscious and talking to medics. He was taken to the trauma center at Loyola Medical Center and was listed in stable condition. His injuries include an "open wrist fracture," police said.
