Nominations Open for Outstanding Senior Citizen Service Award

Elmhurst, IL - The City of Elmhurst’s Senior Citizen Commission is accepting nominations for the “Outstanding Senior Citizen Service Awards”.

Please submit the following form to nominate: Outstanding Senior Citizen Service Nomination Form 2016

Nominations will be accepted from May 15, 2016 through August 15, 2016. Nominations received after this date will not be considered.

All volunteers, nominators, and their guests will be invited to the City of Elmhurst Outstanding Senior Citizen Service Awards program at Elmhurst City Hall on September 29, 2016. A reception will follow.

The City of Elmhurst Senior Commission will coordinate the review and selection of the Outstanding Senior Citizen by a panel of independent judges from the Elmhurst community. The nominations will be reviewed and scored by independent judges using a rubric that includes the criteria reflected in the application. Selection of volunteers is done via a blind process.
