The Good Lord softly called Suzanne home and she peacefully went from Silver Cross Hospital at the age of 91 on January 15, 2018.

Sue was born in Joliet, and made Joliet her lifelong home though she loved to travel and did so extensively with her family. She was a wonderful, active, involved, community and family-centered wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly and shared that love with all with whom she came in contact. In her early years, she willingly served her faith and her parish helping wherever she was needed at the Cathedral of St. Raymond School and Rectory. She was also a member of the JoAnnites at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, the Council of Catholic Women, KSKJ St. Genevieve Lodge and the Joliet Rivals Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Joliet Senior Citizens Association at St. Joe’s Park and a former member of the East Side A. C. As a member and Past President of the Cantigny Post #367 Ladies Auxiliary, Sue never missed working a fish fry in the kitchen as the 'Salad Lady', or a Bingo session at the Post in over 38 years. She enjoyed the past year spent with friends and her wonderful caregivers at the Inn at Willow Falls.
