Officers Called To Elmhurst Restaurant Fight
In another case, a driver twice tried to pass counterfeit bills at a restaurant, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police handled cases involving a restaurant fight, counterfeit bills, disorderly conduct and soliciting without a license. Here is information from the latest reports:
Restaurant fight
- Police responded to a fight about 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amigas Restaurant, 671 W. North Ave. Employees told officers that the two people left after being separated. An officer called one of the suspects, who admitted to pushing a woman. Charges are pending.

- A driver twice attempted to pay for items with counterfeit bills Wednesday at the drive-thru at McDonald's, 190 E. Butterfield Road. Employees recognized the counterfeits, so the restaurant lost no money. An investigation is pending.
Disorderly conduct
- A 27-year-old Chicago man was cited about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Elmhurst 255 apartment complex, 255 N. Addison Ave., on a charge of disorderly conduct involving the befouling of property. He was released.
Soliciting without a license

- A 20-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 200 block of East Wilson Street was cited about 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of South Colfax Avenue on a charge of soliciting without a license.
- A 23-year-old Lockport man was cited about 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of South Euclid Avenue on a charge of soliciting without a license.
