Party City to Open Elmhurst Location

Elmhurst, IL - Party City plans to open a new location in Elmhurst in summer 2016.

Party City will be located at 209 S. IL Route 83 in Elmhurst Crossing, next to Whole Foods Market, according to the City of Elmhurst's blog.

The store will offer party goods, costumes, accessories, novelties, gifts, stationery and more.

Party City's retail operations include more than 900 specialty retail party supply stores in the United States and Canada, operating under the names Party City and Halloween City, according to the company's website.

Party City opened its first store in East Hanover, New Jersey, in 1986. Current locations near Elmhurst include stores in Oak Brook, Melrose Park, Berwyn, Countryside and Bloomingdale.
