Repeat Offender Who Talks to Aliens Declared 'Sexually Dangerous' Person
A jury found Lawrence Adamczyk would be likely to commit criminal sexual offenses if he were not confined.

A man who once claimed Justin Bieber telepathically told him to watch boys at a high school swim meet was deemed a "sexually dangerous person" Friday by a jury in a civil suit in DuPage County court.
Lawrence Adamczyk, 52 of Rockford, believes he can communicate with aliens, and prosecutors said he thinks "he can alter the world through sex acts with adolescent boys," according to the Chicago Tribune.

In court March 2, Adamczyk said the aliens would never let him commit a sex crime, the Tribune reported. Adamczyk will be kept in custody in the Illinois Department of Corrections indefinitely, though he can petition for release.
Adamczyk has a long history of run-ins with the law. He was arrested Jan. 12, 2013, after the incident at the Riverside Brookfield High School swim meet. Riverside police reported Adamczyk was going to the Brookfield Zoo that night to look for young boys to have sex with when, Adamczyk said, Bieber sent him a brainwave message that redirected him to the school. Police also reported Adamczky told them he was masterbating at the swim meet before they arrived.

Adamczky was found not guilty of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass in the case, the Riverside-Brookfield Landmark reported.
Riverside Police Chief Thomas Weitzel said in the 2013 report that Adamczyk was on electronic monitoring when he was arrested. He had also been arrested in 2011 and charged with battery and public indecency for allegedly exposing himself and touching members of a St. Charles gym.
Adamczyk pleaded guilty to an aggravated battery in a public place charge for the incident, Patch previously reported, and prosecutors dropped two other counts as part of the plea.
Weitzel reported Adamczyk had also been arrested in 2009 at a high school in Rockford and in 2005 at the Northern Illinois University Campus.
The Tribune reported Adamczyk had been in custody since 2014, when he was arrested and charged with burglary for an incident at a high school in Roselle involving a teenager.
