According to the report, a 49-year-old Chicago man danced with the victim for a few minutes. They danced the "bachata," which is "sensual and romantic," police said.

The man moved his hands to the middle of her back, simulating a hug-like position. She then said she felt a substance that resembled semen on the back of her thigh, police said.

She stepped back and saw it on her right shoe, police said.

The man said he was sorry and ran to the men's restroom.

Another man at the party confronted the 49-year-old, who said, "It was just dancing, and I couldn't contain myself," according to the report.

A dance instructor told police that the man attended classes a year earlier. He said several Chicago dance studios told him the man made women feel uncomfortable by dancing closely, police said

Police said they found semen on the woman's shoe.

DuPage County prosecutors rejected a proposed felony charge against the man. Rather, he was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

On Aug. 25, the man showed up at the police station with his attorney, Sean O'Brien. The man invoked his right to remain silent.

He was taken to the DuPage County Jail, but was released.
