Sheriff's Deputies Make Courthouse Arrests
A Lombard man and a Wheaton man have been arrested in separate incidents at the DuPage County Courthouse.
WHEATON, IL — A Lombard man was arrested July 19 after a DuPage County sheriff's deputy saw him inside a fenced perimeter of the DuPage County Courthouse in Wheaton.
Stuart Rothberg, 49 of the 1300 block of Finley Road in Lombard, reportedly refused to cooperate with deputies, and he was arrested, according to the sheriff's office.
Rothberg was charged with criminal trespass to state supported land, and his bond was set at $20,000.

The sheriff's office points out this was the first of two recent courthouse arrests.
On July 25, a judge ordered a man to be taken into custody for civic contempt, but he "attempted to actively defeat the arrest," the sheriff's office reports.

A deputy used his Taser on Anthony Ramirez, 28 of the 26w000 block of Armbrust Avenue in Wheaton. Additional charges are pending for Ramirez, who is in the DuPage County Jail awaiting a bond court hearing, according to the sheriff's office.
