Shirtless Person Out In Elmhurst's 7-Degree Weather: Cops
In another case, a person posing as a worker tried to defraud an Elmhurst business, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police handled a shirtless person, a DUI, attempted fraud at a business, a domestic disturbance and a found bike. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Shirtless person
- Police were called about 6:30 a.m. Thursday to check on the well-being of a shirtless person at St. Charles Road and Hill Street. It was 7 degrees. The person was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.

- Someone posing as an employee last Tuesday emailed the owner of Third Coast Conservation, 473 W. Fullerton Ave., with a request to change the bank used for the worker's payroll. The owner reported the attempted theft two days later. Third Coast is an art restoration service.
DUI
- A 49-year-old Bellwood man was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Riverside Drive on charges of DUI, improper display of registration and not wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to the police station and then released.
Domestic disturbance

- Police responded to a domestic disturbance about 2:30 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Ridgeland Avenue. A man and his wife had been arguing. They agreed to separate for the night.
Found bike
- A black and red Giant bicycle was reported abandoned Friday at Eldridge Park. The bike was placed into evidence for safekeeping.
