ELMHURST, IL – A couple of Elmhurst aldermen are requesting to smooth out spending on new vehicles, rather than ride a fiscal roller coaster.

They suggested a separate fleet replacement account as a possible solution to smoothing out the costs.

They are asking the City Council's finance committee to look at ways to improve the process. The council plans to vote on the request Monday.
