Snoopy: DuPage County Pet Pick of the Week

DuPage County, IL — Meet the handsome, affectionate Snoopy! Snoopy is a 9-year-old mix-breed dog who has been at the shelter for a while now.

He is mostly lab with a little bit of Staffordshire Terrier and Brittany Spaniel (yes I said Brittany Spaniel) thrown in for character.

Snoopy is still a very active boy! He loves to play, run and splash in his kiddie pool. Even though he is active, Snoopy does have some very advanced arthritis in his hind legs. Unfortunately, surgery is not an option for Snoopy, his arthritis is expected to get worse and effect his quality of life as he grows older. He may have years left or maybe just months before he is no longer able to move around comfortably.

Snoopy is looking for someone to take him home and love him as much as they can for as long as he has and to be ready to make that difficult decision when he can no longer run, and play and splash as he loves to do.

Snoopy is looking for a hero to give him the best year (years hopefully) of his life. This gentle giant deserves nothing but the very best life has to offer and he wants nothing more than a home and family to call his own. Are you ready to be a hero for this sweet boy?
