Suspect In Elmhurst Case? Apparently A Dog
Police responded to a burglar alarm in the middle of the night.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to a burglar alarm last week at a local kennel.
The suspect appeared to be a female Lab mix that escaped, police said. The incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. at Elmhurst Animal Care Center, 850 S. Riverside Drive.
A couple of days later, police were called to the business in another case.

An officer was told that a man called the kennel about 15 to 20 times. The man yelled at employees and used profanity because the business was unable to board his dog, police said.
The officer requested the man to stop contacting the business.
