Suspicious Woman Offered Ride to Kids in Unincorporated Bensenville

She was driving a white, gray or teal color two-door car, possibly a Pontiac.

A suspicious woman approached two children Nov. 2 in unincorporated Bensenville.

The children were walking home from school around 3:30 p.m. Monday near Red Oak and Briar Lane when the woman asked if they would like a ride home, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman approached them a second time, and they ran away and called for help.

The suspicious person is described as a white woman with black hair, 5 feet to 5 feet 6 inches tall, medium build and possibly wearing glasses, the office reported. She was driving a white, gray or teal color two-door car, possibly a Pontiac.
