The woman was suspected of robbery and theft in Countryside, prosecutors said.
OAK BROOK, IL – A woman suspected of robbery and theft led Oak Brook officers on a chase and struck a car in doing so, authorities said.
Terry Kahdijah, 30, of Chicago, was ordered jailed until her trial, according to a news release from DuPage County prosecutors.
About 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oak Brook police were informed about a black Audi Q5 that was believed to have been involved in a robbery and theft in Countryside.

The Audi, driven by Kahdijah, was found near the Oakbrook Center mall, with an officer following in an unmarked car, police said.
As the Audi began to pull out of the mall to go west on 22nd Street, it rolled backward and tapped the bumper of the unmarked car, the news release said. The squad car's emergency lights were activated.

Kahdijah then ignored the red light and turned west on 22nd Street. She then is accused of speeding 61 mph in a 40 mph zone.
As she approached Route 83, Kahdijah tried to turn right from the left-most lane to go north. In so doing, she hit a Lexus SUV in the intersection, causing major damage, police said.
After the crash, Kahdijah's car stalled. When officers ordered her to get out, she refused, police said.
Officers removed her and took her to the hospital. After she was handcuffed to a bed, she caused about $7,000 in damage to it, prosecutors said.
Kahdijah was charged with two counts of aggravated fleeing and eluding an officer, one count of criminal property damage, and multiple misdemeanors and petty traffic offenses, including driving with a suspended license.
"With the holiday shopping season upon us, I want to remind motorists that in DuPage County we will not tolerate this type of alleged behavior that puts not only the accused at risk, but also the officers involved as well as the motoring public," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in the news release.
