Thief Hiding Makeup in Plastic Bag Flees in Getaway Car

The manager of a pharmacy store in the 100 block of West North Avenue told Elmhurst police that a man hid women’s makeup in a plastic bag Dec. 6 before he fled the scene in a gold Toyota Solara.

The thief is described as a man wearing a red baseball hat, a letterman jacket with black sleeves, black pants and red shoes, according to Elmhurst police.

The manager tried to confront the man when he ran outside to the Toyota.
