Villa Park Police Seek Info About Attack on Great West Trail
Nothing was stolen and the victim had minor injuries.

A battery took place at about 7:40 a.m. Oct. 28 on the Great West Trail between Harvard and Westmore.
A person was walking alone on the trail when a man approached from behind, according to Villa Park police. Nothing was stolen and the person sustained minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 21 to 25 years old, thin build, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, blond hair and wearing a black hoodie.

A police search of the area wasn’t able to find the man. The Villa Park Police Department Detective Division is still investigating.
