Zeus: DuPage County Pet Pick of the Week

Zeus is still a puppy at heart, and he is happy for a chance to play.

Meet Zeus, the Pet Pick of the Week from DuPage County Animal Care and Control.

Zeus is an active one-year-old male lab mix. This young boy has been bounced about quite a bit.

He was originally surrendered to DCACC as a young puppy. His first family could not care for him or keep up with his training and exercise needs.

Zeus was adopted from DCACC about a year ago, and unfortunately Zeus’ second owner passed away, and Zeus finds himself once again in the shelter.

Zeus is now 1.5 years old, and he is a unique-looking dog with chocolate brown coloring and long lanky legs. Zeus is still a puppy at heart, and he is so happy when given the chance to play. Once given the proper exercise, Zeus will calm down nicely and with engage with his person.

He is a happy, wiggly dog who enjoys walks, likes everyone he meets and is friendly with other dogs. Because of his high energy level and wiggly-ness, he will need a home without children younger than 10. Zeus would love an active home where he can get the training and attention he needs. Could it be yours?

If you are interested in adopting Zeus or another animal, visit the shelter at 120 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, or call 630-407-2800, extension 0.
