Crash Blocks Traffic At Ridge Road: Officials

EVANSTON, IL — Police and fire officials are at the scene of a crash Monday afternoon in the area of Greenwood Street and Ridge Road, authorities said in a social media post.

A spokesperson for the city said residents can expect traffic to be completely blocked on Ridge Road until after 2 p.m.

An image posted online by the Evanston Police Department shows fire officials crowded around a black car with pieces of its front bumper on the road. Officials did not say if any injuries were reported at this time.
