Details: In celebration of National Preservation Month, the Evanston Preservation Commission invites community members to participate in a Preservation and Sustainability Roundtable onSaturday, May 31, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St.

From 10 a.m. to noon, City staff, community leaders and architecture and planning experts will discuss their work in relationship to sustainability and preservation, and the mutual benefits of each. Each presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and a question and answer session.

At noon, participants will receive a guided tour of the Evanston History Center’s new geothermal heating and cooling system.
