Evanston Man Gets 10 Years for Armed Robbery of Northwestern Students
The robbery of three female students at gunpoint happened in 2012. A second offender was never caught.

A 25-year-old Evanston man was sentenced this week to 10 years in prison for robbing three female Northwestern students at gunpoint two years ago, police said.
Timothy A. Blue, has been in custody since he turned himself into police three days after the Aug. 19, 2012 robbery in the 2000 block of Pratt Court. He had been caught on surveillance tape at a Skokie 7-11 using one of the victim’s credit cards.
A second offender in the robbery was never identified or caught.
