House Fire Halts Traffic In Evanston

EVANSTON, IL — A house fire shut down traffic in an Evanston neighborhood Monday morning, according to police.

The Evanston Fire Department responded to the fire before 11 a.m. in the 1900 block of Warren Street. No details about the fire were immediately available.

Traffic on Dodge Avenue is shut down between Keeney and Oakton Streets until further notice. The public was advised to avoid the area until the fire is extinguished.
