Chris Collins, the new Northwestern University head basketball coach, has purchased a $2.5 million newly built Winnetka home, the Chicago Tribune is reporting. The house features seven bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a bar with a wine cellar and a lower level with a recreation room and a media room.
Collins, who is originally from Northbrook, is the son of Doug Collins, a former Chicago Bulls head coach, the Tribune states. Collins started at Duke University and was later an assistant at Seton Hall and Duke. He joined the Northwestern staff in March.
