Where Are Evanston's Rats Clustered?
Not the most pleasant data to peruse, but the city has generated a map of where rat complaints originate.
Evanston has seen an uptick in complaints about rats this year, according to an article in Evanston Now.
The worst area is the several blocks south of Main Street and east of Dodge Avenue, the article says. The city has hired exterminators and is working to educate residents about controlling the rodent population.
The map above shows where the rat complaints are concentrated in the city.
