North Shore Resident Brings Mobile Pet Service To Community
The Woofie's mobile service van will offer grooming, pet sitting and dog walking to pet-owners in the North Shore area.

EVANSTON, IL — Mobile pet service company Woofie's is coming to the Evanston area to offer walking, grooming and pet sitting to residents in the North Shore.
The new Woofie's location will celebrate its grand opening on May 31 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Downtown Evanston at Fountain Square. At the celebration, attendees will receive free dog mani-pedis and The Farmer's Dog food samples.
Woofie's will provide one-on-one services for dogs, cats and other pets.

“At Woofie’s Evanston-North Shore, we are dedicated to treating every pet like family,” said Owner Roby Geevarghese. “We understand the unique needs of pets and their owners and strive to provide customized services that exceed expectations. Being able to give this level of care is incredibly fulfilling and exactly the kind of mission I was looking for when I decided to start a business.”
Geevarghese has lived in Evanston since 2018 and has over two decades of experience in philanthropy.

Geevarghese, his wife Anita and his three children have always been passionate about pets and saw Woofie's as an opportunity to connect deeply with more North Shore residents. The family's dog, a Cavapoo named Taj, is features on the Woofie's mobile grooming spa van.
In the five months since the North Shore service has soft-launched, Woofie's has collaborated with local shelters and donated food and grooming services to pets up for adoption.
When it's open, Woofie's will offer services for animals with special needs, senior pets or animals prone to anxiety. Woofie's also has a 24/7 vet telehealth service through a collaboration with Pet Vet Connection.
"Woofie’s staff are local to the area and trained to ensure premium 'heads to tails' care for pets," officials said in a statement.
Woofie's was founded in 2004 and now has 56 locations open throughout the country in 25 states including, Maryland, California and Texas.
