Evergreen Park 14U All Stars Face Columbus, Tx., In Little League Softball World Series

EP All Stars head undefeated into Little League Junior Softball World Series against Columbus, TX, Saturday, Aug. 2.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Bring on the prom jewels, because the Evergreen Park 14U All Stars advanced to the World Series championship game after beating Puerto Rico in Friday's semi-final, 15-12, in Kirkland, Wash.

Evergreen Park will face the 5-1 Southwest Regional champs from Columbus, Tx. The game starts at 3 p.m. CT, Saturday, Aug. 2.

Mackenzie Norbut had herself a day, smacking a three-run homer and stopping a potential Puerto Rico rally, reaching over the left field fence and catching a foul ball fly, ending the inning and leavig two baserunners.
