Evergreen Park Library Hosts STEAM Saturday

Learn all about science, technology, engineering, art and math through fun hands-on experiments, games and activities Saturday. Sept. 17.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Learn all about science, technology, engineering, art and math through fun hands-on experiments, games and activities this Saturday. Sept. 17. STEAM Saturday runs from 10 a.m. to noon at the Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy Ave.

Public libraries play a key role in STEAM education and this event will provide people the opportunity to explore new areas and hopefully become inspired,” said Frank Murray, director of the Evergreen Park Public Library.

Murray will demonstrate how to use a 3-D printer, kids can make their own slime or tinker in the tinker lab. All ages are invited. Here is the complete list of STEAM Saturday organizations and activities:

Each attendee will receive a raffle ticket to win a STEAM raffle basket valued at
